Lee has over 30 years of leadership experience in computer software and hardware, product distribution, service and not-for-profit industries. This includes executive management, business development, sales, consulting, project planning, financial management, operations management and software development. He has a career-long reputation for improving business processes and enhancing internal and external relationships. Lee holds the Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), and Microsoft Business Solutions Certified Professional (MCP) certifications.
Lee's recent engagements include project delivery, training, and interim executive assignments (CEO, COO) in both start-up and turnaround situations. Lee has served on several not-for-profit boards including the Houston Chapter of SAVE International (Value Engineering Society), the Project Management Institute - Houston Chapter, 1960 North Houston Toastmasters and the North Houston Project Management Toastmasters. In 2014, Lee served as Chairman of the Board and President of the Project Management Institute - Houston Chapter, a membership organization with over 4000 members.
Lee founded and served as Chair of the Houston Biotechnology Forum, a community of researchers, professors, grad students, commercialization professionals and others who are active in the development of new biotechnology breakthroughs and bringing them to market.
